Interesting that the medicinal notes of peat are there but very light. Almost none of the smokey notes usual in peated whiskies. The peat comes from an ex-Islay cask so I guess this makes sense. Similar to the regular expression but with that medical iodine peat tones in the background. I like it but this needs more time to mature.
