Chris

N: Light wood and sherry.
P: Surprisingly un-sherried and much less enjoyable than the 15 year, more on par with the 10 year in terms of flavor. Weak.
F: Now the age emerges, but sadly in the form of excessive wood.
Well, at least it's not overpriced.
Andy

Peppery, tingly, with a silky to oily palate.

Retaste:

n: Faintest citrus

p:  Velvety.  Toasted almonds.  Crushed pepper.  Lemon pine-sol.

Fuji

Current 25 (pictured above): B-

Light preserved fruits, citrus and  bits of stale sherry notes. Dry on the palate with metallic tea water and cherry licorice.  Fudge on the finish

Older bottling with blue wax: B+

N: Ripe fruits: Soft yellow peach, nectarine, green grape, kiwi and mangos. Hints of melted butter, candle wax and white peppercorns.
P: Alot of the fruit on the nose comes through along with whiffs of smoke.
F: Lasting candy finish.

Older bottling with blue wax stamp and oval label.  The current stuff has more sherry type red fruit and isn't as vibrant.

Ries

Current 25 (as pictured above): B/B-

n: strawberry jam, new football leather, sweeter (but lighter) sherry. Butterscotch with some lime citrus, and basement wood paneling.

t: Red berry syrup w/o much sweetness. Dry oakyness to this right after the initial taste. Black tea and cherry wood in the finish.

previous bottling: B+

n: real cherry flavoured pipe tobacco, more oak and vanilla. Bit of a deep musty note that I find appealing.

t: dried apricots, toffee, and back to the fresh pipe tobacco. The wood shows strongly in the middle with a bit of white pepper. Finish is waxy tobacco and long.
