Nose -- is this a rye?  It almost smells like one.  Palate is... like a rye!  Wow.  Neato.  I don't get it, but I like it.  There's also grapes, grassy notes, and graham crackers.  Semi-dry.  A unique whisky for sure.  Title: WTF???

N: Apricot and odd grains.
P: Very non-Macallan, dry fruity spicy.  Weird.
F: Quite woody (maybe too much) yet enjoyable.
My first Malt Trust bottling and I'm impressed with the unusual cask selection, looking forward to trying more.

Nose and palate are primarily rye. Initially seems a bit thin, but then follows with a mid-length, somewhat rich and malty finish. Not at all characteristic of Macallan, but interesting and enjoyable.
