Nose has that honey-mustard thing going on, in of course a bourbon variety.  Good amounts of caramel.  The palate is quite sweet and goes down really easy.  There's almost a malty aspect to this as well, although of course it's not malted (unless someone is keeping a really weird secret).  There are some spiritous edges that keep the rating down, but this is nonetheless quite good bourbon at a decent price

Very sweet nose with alot of dry oak. It starts of creamy and becomes very dry very fast.  You get the same on the palate.  Some sweetness that is overpowered by the oak and a very faint vanilla finish.

N: Light and sweet. Caramel upfront with a faintly floral and piney rye presence. A very faint touch of black cherries, lightly dry tobacco, a touch of black pepper.

P: Light but not entirely thin. Caramel and vanila lead with some gentle wood influence behind; a light dose of oranges and a fainter touch of orange zest. Suggestions of cinnamon, a hint of black cherry and a faint bubblegum touch.

F: Black cherry surprisingly leads with unexpected heat as well. Goes back towards caramel and vanilla with a faint hint of pineapple (pushing slightly towards Juicy Fruit gum). Gentle wood influence.

A nice easy sipper. Very well done with some good dimension. If some of the already fairly easy edges were sanded down (without yielding the flavor nuance) this would be a B+.

This has a nice, typical BT style nose with caramel, some spice and a touch of oak. The palate has a balance of sweet, rum like notes and more acidic notes. It's more acidic than I remember from previous bottles (of course, single barrels can always vary). The finish is acidic, with lemon rind and a bit spicy. It's a decent and well composed bourbon, though not one that I find particularly exciting.

n: vanilla nougat, caramel on a waffle cone. Pineapple upsidedown cake and dry corn meal.

t: donut glaze on a brown paper napkin, pretty standard bourbon profile. Waxy pineapple candy in the middle. The thin mouthfeel and short finish hurts the score. A conversational sipper.
