Smoky butterscotch nose, delicious butterscotch taste, rich and deep, yum yum!!

RETASTE: Lots of coffee (particularly in the nose), deep dried cherries, smoke underpinnings. Aspects of magic.

Wow! [I said it out loud at the time].  Ginormous malt and honey flavor.  Fo' shizzle my whiskizzle.

Retaste 2011:   Still great, I definitely get some sulfur this time around, but it adds dimension rather than a flaw.  Struck match sticks, dark fruits, plums.  Somewhat dry.

HOT! Strong nose. Sweet, it's liquid cherries and maple syrup, but with a nice balance of smokey-goodness. The sweetness meshes well with the cask strength - very enjoyable drinking. Long finish.

Sweet, slightly smoky nose.  Palate starts sweet, then explodes into sweet smoke.  Finishes spicy, hot, and strong.

INSANITY.  Smooth heat, honey wheat.  Truly F-your-sister phenomenal.

Sherry and maple syrup on the nose give way to a big punch of sherry on the palate.  Dense, rich and lush - pure sherried goodness.  Not a lot to say but it hits all the right notes.
