A prickly nose for an Irish whiskey, spiritous, with pine scents.  The light palate has mild malt and spice, with slight vanilla.  This continues in the medium-long finish, but the alcoholy-alcohol flavor becomes a little too prominent.  I kinda-sorta like it in a way that you can mix it or throw it on the rocks.  C/C+

N: Light and spirituous, with some bakery scents mixed in.
P: Not much and then a faint taste of rye.
F: Rye fades and that's it.

N: Watery with a little honey, a slightly sour apple note, a fair amount of maltiness.

P: Light and watery in the mouth, heat slowly building with a touch of pepper. Some maltiness, a touch of honey, and a bit of general graininess. Slight apple sourness as well. A slight bit of wood bitterness.

F: Quite fast, with some gentle heat, a bit of honey and some maltiness. A little bit of slightly earthy dry grain. Dries out to bitter wood.

It's blandly OK. I think it's a bit watery; the sour note isn't bad but not altogether welcome. Still, you can do a lot worse.

n: faint and light nose of lemon wax, green wet grass, and new make. Maybe a bit of butterscotch and vanilla.

t: easy to sip with little harshness. Some light malt and dry lime. Minty grass flavour in the middle that turns to powdered sugar sweetness (new make). Tastes very young, very pedestrian, but perfect for mixers.
