Member Ratings and Notes
Ries

n: cinnamon baked apple, rye bread dough, and milk chocolate.

t: cocoa powder and lemon custard. It runs a bit hot and sharp but quickly goes into multiple layers of flavor - heavy malt, geen apple, and chocolate. Middle has mint, apple sauce, and oak. Finish goes to black pepper corn, mushroom, with some raw vegetal notes, and overall - completely savory.

I didn’t know what to think when I received this whisky sample, but it is really nice and very delicious. Honestly it is great and ticks all the boxes of what make a “great scotch”. If there is a negative - it’s that ALL the boxes are checked and too many things are going on. It’s a straight-up whisky cacophany, but it works! Thank you RC.
