Macallan Whisky Maker's Edition has been personally crafted by the distillery's manager, Bob Dalgarno, from a mix of sherry and bourbon casks and bottled at his preferred drinking strength of 42.8%. Originally released for global travel retail.
Light modern-style sherry, malt, and dark chocolate. Chardonay and almond oil. Vanilla creamer and toasted oak in the finish. Not particularly complex.
