Medium amber color. The nose is horrific (alcohol) and the palate is disgusting. The aftertaste is just awful. I don't really have any descriptive words because I just do not like this product. [3/10/13]

Mashy and young.

The nose has peanut notes with light sugar. The palate is soapy with artificial fruit flavors, and the mouthfeel is watery thin. It's very blah, and while it's not horrible, it doesn't have any redeeming features.

NOSE
A bit medicinal at first but that wash gives way to a sugary bourbon and a very pronounced corn. There’s a bit of honey and waxy sugary smell to it that, combined with the corn, reminds me of a bag of candy corn (which I love). There’s also some under ripe citrus hiding in there and a raw almost pancake batter like quality to the overall nose. A splash of water will help kick up some of the vanilla.

TASTE
Caramel and corn battle it out on the palate with a buttered corn on the cob flavor trying to get a few shots in itself. There is a touch of citrus, but not much of the vanilla that is very often found in bourbon. With only a touch of oak and a slightly medicinal quality hanging out in the glass it has a very young flavor profile and feels a bit wild. A splash of water or ice brings out more of the vanilla that is hiding deep inside the dram, but even then it feels a bit unbalanced.

FINISH
Buttery popcorn that fades to a buttery caramel corn and then back to buttery popcorn before fading out a grainy flavor.
