Beautiful reddish amber color. Super hot out of the gates and to me overly woody. Great spice backbone though and huge vanilla overtones. Nose also has a lot of rye. To me was more bitter than I would like. Water helped, but not that much. Barrel #19 (1 of 129 bottles). [8/3/13]
Nose: Lots of rye, spice box notes. Palate: Very nice, dry rye notes, sandalwood, some mint. Sandalwood and oak spice on the finish. Very nice aged rye. [Barrel #11]
