Nose:  Delicate and malty with some fuel oil notes, some rubber and grapes.

Palate:  Rich malt, coastal characteristics, salty/briny, oily mouthfeel

Finish:  Malt and  seawater.

It's interesting to try a bourbon cask rendition of a malt that is usually a sherry monster.  The base malt here is rich and complex stuff which explains how they can get such complex character out of the sherry casks. 

This one was quite good, but at cask strength, I bet it would have been astounding.
