N: Lemon filled pastries (custards) and powdered sugar. Nice fresh oak and hints of smoke and ash.  Slight burnt plastic note.

P: The pastry effect follows through on the palate. The peat is much more pronounced on the palate with tart yet sweet apples, nectarines and grapes.

F: Waxy bitterness reminiscent of lemon peel with nice peaks of peat breaking through.

Ries

n: nice lightly smoked malt initial, then unglazed fresh donuts and lemon yogurt. The smoke seems to grow over time.

t: bread dough and lemon cream that turns a little sour midway when the peat starts to appear (and green apple skin). Finishes sugar frosting and more smokey wood ash at the tail. Gets smokier the more you drink.

n:  Gentle iodine and brine.  Subtle

p:  Bitter.  Crisp and simple like dry charcoal on the tongue.  Strange pepper finish.  Hint of faint peach.
