Member Ratings and Notes
This has a nice nose with plenty of old bourbon style candy notes. The palate has a nice richness to it with burnt caramel notes and just a bit of spice, though it turns a bit dull before fading without much more than a slightly woody finish. Still, pretty good stuff.

The nose is sweet and malty. Wood polish and spice can be readily found with hints of warm toffee. A bit thin on the palate but surprisingly it sticks to the soft palate. Not too much going on with taste on this. Tastes like sweet watered down tea with a bit of rye spice making an appearance with some spice at the end.

n:  Well oats?  Pretty plain.

p:  Hint of minty wood but weaker than I'd prefer (yeah, I'm an ABV snob).  The finish runs like a gimp horse at the Derby.  I don't think this is the cream of Kentucky's products.  More like scraps with water added.
