Lots of woodiness (mahogany and varnish) with a bouquet of flowers. Theres heat from cracked peppers and sweetness stewed fruits, jam and raisins. A zing of raspberries comes through from time to time. Dark black tea finish.

This Caperdonich has a very big sherry influence. The sherry notes were strong and covered up a lot of the more exotic fruits I tend to get with Capers. A little air and the sherry notes mellow out. Don't get me wrong, I love sherried whiskies and this is very good. B+/A-

This has a great nose with sherry and then a woody note that is almost bourbon like, followed by some sulphur. The palate is very sweet sherry with sweet berry notes and candy.  The finish is short, just a slight tanginess and a chewy mouthfeel.

This is a really nice drinker.  B+/A-
