N: Sharp with pepper and spice. Lightly orange and caramel. A little black cherry. Slightly harsh. Light black tea.

P: Slightly thin, light oranges, a bit of caramel, some oakiness. Slightly warming - light white pepper. Very slight sourness.

F: Big and bold. A nice heat - bleack tea tannins initially, a little cherry. Some light marshmallow notes for a second. Dries slightly but not much - a little light oak but still retains some orange and caramel. Very faint mint aromas.

This benefits from some time in the glass. It's an interesing focus - orange, caramel and a little black tea. I don't think it quite works for me but it's an unusual profile.

Nose: That combination of exhaust and wet pavement that reminds me of Manhattan on a rainy spring morning.

Palate: Rye spice, very dry, like desert, chapped lips dry, some anise as it trails off.

Finish: Nice rye finish with some savory notes and a touch of bitterness.
