Nose:  Beautifully floral and malty, very Dallas Dhu.

Palate:  Malt & flowers fading into a nice spicy, peppery element, a touch of bitterness.

Finish:  Pepper and malt (sugar & spice).

Really nice.

N: Nutty (walnuts?), damp sawdust, mettalic rusty notes with a sour funk

P: Still over all citrus tart and sour white grapes

F: Starts of spicy and becomes extremely bitter with black licorice and lime wedges

This was just too sour and tart for me and I really didnt care too much fo the very bitter finish.

N: Light, slightly fruity - light pineapple. Clean, faintly grassy. Floral.

P: Slightly dry & woody initially, with white pepper, light cinnamon, and a dose of sichuan pepper. Pears, light pineapple juice.

F: Drying palate. Peppery, light wood and has a crazy tang like Smarties candy.

Good palate, nice spice. Slightly bitter wood mars this one for me.

N: Light, citrus.
P: Lots of banana, light wood spice, pepper.
F: Goes on to lemon Smarties candy (with a powdery mouth feel).

I am a big fan of Dallas Dhu, its not complicated, but just so refreshing.   There have been some low abv Dallas Dhu's that have been too weak, and I was worried this one might be as well.  But it packs a lot of flavor.

Light and fruity nose and light and citrus on the tongue. Not a good finish. [3/20/12]
