The nose is slightly leafy, and overtones of sweet oatmeal.  Some mustiness (the good kind), with cake batter, or caramel ice cream.  Now, the palate -- it's ridiculously sweet.  Caramel and vanilla.  Kind of creamy and envelopy.  The sweetest I have ever tried, this is very agreeable.  And only 3 years!  Oh yeah, the finish -- medium length.  Some spice and pepper, with toffee notes.  Overall, this is a very dessert-y, and it gets more so as it breathes and the glass diminishes.  A unique standout among whiskies.  It's an easy A-, but the taste is so darn addicting that it goes into pure A territory.  A

Retaste, a couple years later: Not as sweet as I recall it, but still a bakery full of delicious, oaty, bready scents and flavors. And the more you drink the better it gets. Doesn't hit my sweet spot the way it once did, but I still love it.  B+/A-

N: Zesty and citrus, smells like a dessert with just a hint of oak.
P:  Very unusual, bready, crumb cake with citrus glaze, creamy, sweet, dry, and even some floral notes.    Very complex!
F:  More bready goodness, medium long, Cinnabun frosting.
I really enjoy drinking this!   Pretty damn yummy.

Retaste (2010):  Takes a little while to open up, but then it's just as enjoyable as the first time around.  It's more herbal than my previous notes indicate, but the fact I described it as both sweet and dry is spot on (it goes from one to the other).  Fun stuff.
Sku

Nose:  Bananas with wisps of smoke.

Palate:  Corn syrup + liquid smoke with a bit of soap.

Finish:  A vague, soapy, smoke

After much urging that something dreadful must have been wrong with my palate or the bottle or something which caused me not to see the genius of this whiksy, I retasted it...

Nose:  Mango, very perfumy like a really ripe mango you buy on the corner (well, my corner anyway).
Palate:  Wisps of smoke, salt, fruit wood and yes, a bit of soap.
Finish:  Light smoke.

Okay, I may have been a bit too hard on this and maybe it suffered by comparison to what I was drinking at the time, but I definitely don't see it in the high range where Chris and Adam landed.  I'm moving it from C- to a C.
