Nose: Sweet and fruity (pears) with underlying peat. Palate: Sweet and syrupy, then the peat emerges and builds toward the finish. Finish: Relatively brief with light peat smoke.
Nose of charcoal briquettes with a dash of starter fluid. Palate is very big yummy smoke and ash, some hickory BBQ, with a tangy quality. Yum! Doesn't leave me with a lot to say, but it's big and peaty and good. B+/A-
