Yum, delicious!! What an Islay. There's a surge in the finish after a few seconds which is very welcome -- if only the finish were longer and of greater intensity this would edge into A+. But obviously this is really good.

Oaky and leathery nose -- a very good nose.  The taste is a bit smoky, with sharp pepperment, and a zing like paprika.  The finish is short but has a punch.  Smoky and delicious!!!

Nose is fantastic.  Palate is not quite the nose, but very good.  Finish... this is just friggin' tasty.

Smoked butterscotch nose -- yum.  Flavor is a bit thinner than expected.  A nice, subtle finish creeps back up.

I like this nose, it's meaty.  I can feel the years sliding blissfully down my gullet.

Brine.  Oak, oily, yeasty bite.  A bit too thin and sweet for better rating.  Salty.

Paradise for the nose.  Minty finish.

Yummy throughout with an intense spike long into the finish. Delivers what you would expect from a Lag. Definitely a winner if you can find it.

Gentle smokey campire peat nicely balanced with warm sherry sweetness.  Holds its own following some great whiskies: Tun 1401 (batches 6 & 9),  Tali 30 and Laph 30.
