N: Empty desk drawers.  Elusive.
P: Comes out of its shell on the palate, as a wad of bubblegum.
F: Goes dry and bitter.

Terrific fruits matched with sherry and oak spices to give it a very complex and deep punch of flavor.  The palate is sweet and spicey - exactly my kind of profile.  Thye finish is long with pears and some wood resin.  Really terrific.

Tea, dark chocolate, some orange peel. The more time spent with it, the more marmalade takes over the palate and then transforms into a tannic, semi-spiced, zingy finish. But never too tannic. Excellent, contemplative yet quickly quaffable.

Nose:  Rich and layered with light fruit and sherry notes.

Palate:  Figgy Pudding.  Some spice and dried fruit notes, but it doesn’t taste like a traditional sherry cask; something else at work here?  Later in the palate some nice chewy wood notes.

Finish:  mulling spices.

Nice and spicy.
