Nose: Light peat. Palate: Smoke, somewhat soapy/perfumey, wood and chocolate, light sherry, a bit of bitterness. The peat in this is a bit unbalanced, which is typical when peat is added to traditionally nonpeated whiskies.
Smokey peat and some harsh (not so much in a good way) cinnamon. Still has that odd choclatey note that was more subtle in the normal version. Still, this gets a slight bump for the cask strength....I would buy this before the standard peated.
