Nose:  sweet stone fruit, perfume, penny candy, apple or pear brandy.
Palate:  very sweet, floral and fruity.
Finish:  More of the same.

This isn't my favorite Bourbon flavor profile, but it's hard to contend that it isn't done well.  It's certainly one of the better fruity Bourbons I've had and emblamatic of the style, just not a style I get that excited about.  It's always fun to explore a 4R single barrel, just to see the diverse flavors they have to work with.

Now that's a nice bourbon! Spicy, musty nose. Palate -- as the spice suggested, there seems to be a high level of rye in here (without checking what this mashbill is -- I don't want it to bias my experience). Great rye spices and minty stuff, nice complexity. And after time, the taste of actual rye seed, like rye bread, completely obvious and "there."

A great and special bourbon.  B+/A-

Oh okay... not as much actual rye content as I would've expected, neato.
