N: Smoke and Bactine.
P: Very medicinal (more so than the standard 10).
F: Light and clean peat with a wisp of campfire smoke.
Interesting to try the 10 year at cask strength.   It could be too small a sample size to say for sure, but I also think the distillate since it reopened is a smokier Caol Ila type profile, which personally I'm not thrilled about.  The Supernova, however, does not support this theory, so perhaps more data is needed (i.e. I need to drink more).

Nose is sweet smoke and fruit.  Palate is that thick mix of smoke and sweet with the type of balance that is characteristic of this series. It's not as strong as my taste memory of the Almost There, which I remember as an A level malt.  Could it be that nine years is the ideal age for this particular expression?  Sounds like I should taste the whole series and really dig into the peat path.
Fuji

N: Rubber, cinnamon, bandaids and toast

P: Starts of salty/briney but then you get a nice toasted bread taste

F: short to med finish of smoke and tea

Peaty nose with mixed Runts candy, a little musty. Palate is a dark, brooding kind of smoke, heavy and charcoaly, with some fruity-candy in the background. Peppery finish sticks for a while. Tasty heavy peater.

Butterscotch, chili pepper, and salt.  Sood stuff.  B+/A-

n: peat sweetness with oak and salty wood char. Lemon wax, plastic, and sea brine. Very medical (Bactine).

t: nice and creamy with a large dose of peat on the sweeter-smokey fruit side. Sea salt comes in mid-palette along ith dry leather and finished with a bit of lemon wax and ash.
