N: Big oranges, epoxy, resinous, sweet, some rubber, grape fruit drink, coconut.
P: Hard to describe, a weird and synthetic fruit taste.  Very concentrated.
F: Bitters, some heat, then a lot of wood.
Wacky but good.

Nose of solvent and resin, rather acrid. There's brine, with a tinge of smoke, along with a "toasted" note and hints of tea and fall leaves. Slight apricot. The palate hits with great fruits and big spices -- orange and grapefruit soemwhat overpowered by a spice cabinet (cinnamon, clove). Salt and leathery stuff enters next. Really big and tasty. Finish is a long fade with minty and peppery stuff. Salt lingers. The general profile reminds me of a salty Tomatin.

Overall an enjoyable whisky, though after time a chemical/synthetic aspect emerges that hurts the experience, and there's a tinge of over-tannic oaky stuff that impinges on drinkability. Still though, I'll drink this any day.
