Damn that's great.  Everything should be bottled at 66.35%.  I took a sip and then involuntarily leaned my head back, closed my eyes, and smiled.  This is just a huge aggressive rye with everything going on.  I will buy a bottle immediately.  How is it that I went this long without trying this?

Christmassy-clove-allspice-cinnamon-nutmeg-minty-rich-freight-train-delight.  A fascinating rye that just pleases the hell out of me. This is not one for novices, the ABV and massive rich spice mix will probably just put them off. However, the heat isn't near what would be expected from nearly 67% (and I drink it at full strength, yes, although it is great on the rocks as well). This has some nearly magical, mysterious aspects to it... and I don't believe any magical or mysterious mumbo-jumbo, so that's saying a lot! Completely delightful.

n:  Nice.  It's almost like the leather from a fine shoe were made into a fancy French cream sauce.

p:  Who, leather and potpouri.  A Castro district Christmas (go ahead and make fun, guys).  Just a lot of fun spices playing in there with some citrus.  Nice velvety mouthfeel.  Twigs on the finish.

A/A+ against bourbon and rye

Fuji

N: Dense and viscous nose.  Evergreen, coconut suntan oil, herb, mint with dry wood and antique furniture.

P: Bitter and waxy. Herbal medicine.

F: Dark tea and hint of salt
